For the first time in a long time, I went out for a walk to get some photos. I drove to Dungeness, partly to give the MX5 a bit of a breather, but mostly because I hadn’t been down there in a while and I thought there might be an opportunity to come back with a different view of the place (I’ve seen way too many photos of the boats on the beach, especially FE180). Turning my back on the sea, I planned to walk around the nature reserve north of the power station, to see what I could find. Sadly, the promised sunshine never materialised and there was a biting wind. I was pretty cold for most of the walk, as I was wearing sun block, not thermals. There was an intense gloominess about the landscape, which I would have liked to have taken the time to capture. Instead, I walked briskly (well, as briskly as I could on the shingle, it’s hard work) around my planned route taking the snaps as I went – here’s the result.
